Phillip Graduated in December of 2009 From Appalachian State University with a degree in Communications specializing in Corporate Public Relations and minors in English and Political Science. After graduation, Phillip moved back to his hometown in Virginia and started his own small independent Insurance agency which gradually grew from an individual agency to a 5 person agency. Phillip spent just under four years as an independent field agent, specializing in individual life, group health and the employee benefit marketplace. Phillip holds his Life, Health, & Long Term Care certifications.
Phillip began his career at FIG as a sales assistant for the life division, assisting agents with all facets of the business from technical support, pre-case design, and underwriting. Phillip was promoted in September 2014 to sales consultant for the Life Division. Although his role has shifted, Phillip's goals continue to be providing top notch service, support, insight, and experience as well as a strong value proposition to all of the agents at FIG. His number 1 goal is to make sure agents are armed with quality products, great back office support, and a willingness to go the extra mile to make sure to earn and retain their business.
